If you are considering utilising NCTAS-P accredited explosive detection dogs (sometimes called sniffer dogs or bomb dogs) to increase the security of your premises, then RFA Security can provide you with a high calibre detection team. Our teams have been subject to robust training against UK priority threat materials, with annual accreditation through the National Canine Training and Accreditation Scheme Private (NCTAS-P).

The end user can be confident when choosing NCTAS-P accredited EDD teams as having the same high standard as NCTAS accredited EDD teams across Government.

Animal welfare is of paramount importance and our explosive detection dogs and security guard dogs are transported in vehicles that are fit for purpose to ensure safe and secure travel. Each handler has their own vehicle fitted with air conditioning, GPS tracker and a separate compartment for the dogs.

Vetted Staff

The CEO of RFA Security Services Ltd is registered and licensed with the Metropolitan Police to store explosives, (ref 03) and certified to Acquire & Keep explosives, (Certificate Number 02/M/0000EXK6660).
All our staff and deployed teams are vetted to BS:7858.
Our explosive detection and sniffer dog team training, continuation training, bulk search training and independent deployment assessments are all audited by the Palace of Westminster via the terms of our contract.

GOV.UK have a database of currently approved NCTAS-P teams.
